Ulius "Pete" Louis Amoss (1895-1961) was an American businessman who dedicated his life to espionage. During World War II, Amoss served as a director in the United States Office of Strategic Services, for which he was awarded the Legion of Merit. After he was discharged in 1946, Amoss formed the International Services of Information Foundation (ISI), a non-profit intelligence service whose purpose was to collect and disseminate information from foreign countries.
